In the Kitchen with Chicken

So I saw Paula Deen make a recipe the other day that did not involve 4 lbs of butter. It was a Pumpkin Apple Butter Pie. I had to try it.

The pie was good, but we decided for Turkey Day we will stick with the traditional pumpkin pie.

Under the Weather

I woke up yesterday feeling like my cold was coming back..... I decided I was obviously vitamin deficient, so I headed to the store to make up for that. So many choices.....

Or maybe I just have Valley Fever. Wonder how many Flintstones that will take to cure?

Please stop calling. Please don't send anymore gray- haired campaign volunteers to my home. Please don't have Bill Clinton, Gen. Wesley Clark or Gov Napolitano call me anymore.
I know today is election day.
I know where my polling place is.
I know to complete both sides of my ballot.
I know to sign the outside of my absentee ballot.
